Job Title: Cabinet Shop Associate
Position Summary:
Assist with unloading and delivering cabinetry, assembling cabinets, operating machinery, and occasional work on the sales floor. Must be physically capable of handling heavy items safely.
Requirements / Responsibilities:

Safely lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs or more, depending on job task).

Assist in unloading trucks and handling deliveries.

Assemble cabinetry according to specifications.

Operate machinery or tools safely in the cabinet shop (forklift, dolly, saws, etc., if applicable).

Help deliver cabinetry to clients, ensuring proper handling.

Occasional sales floor assistance, including answering basic customer questions or helping with displays.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

Prior experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or furniture assembly.

Ability to read basic blueprints or assembly instructions.

Basic mechanical aptitude for using shop machinery.

Good communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction.

Valid driver’s license (if delivering cabinets).

Job Title: Cabinetry Sales & Operations Associate
Position Summary:
Assist customers in selecting cabinetry and related products, support day-to-day operations of the showroom and shop, and coordinate deliveries and installations.
Requirements / Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in the showroom, understanding their cabinetry needs.

Provide product information, guidance, and recommendations.

Process sales, prepare quotes, and handle orders accurately.

Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and shop staff.
-
Assist with inventory management and showroom organization.
-
Support shop operations as needed, including helping with light assembly or staging cabinets for delivery.

Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and customer communications.

Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and installers as necessary.

Follow company policies and maintain a professional, customer-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

Prior experience in cabinetry sales, home improvement, or retail sales.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks.

Basic computer skills for sales software, quotes, and order management.
